Focaccia

Storybook Italian hospitality in form of a five-course gourmet menu is paired with the finest Italian wines and spirits, a vibrant pianist who will add musical spice to the evening and, of course, a glass of Moët & Chandon when the clock strikes midnight.  Doors open at 8:00pm for a welcome drink and dinner starts at 8:30pm.

Seafood favourites, prime rib of beef and a sushi bar are just some of the specialties awaiting you in Al Dawaar on New Year's Eve.  Indulge in an incredible buffet of international specialties accompanied by a full open bar and, at midnight, raise a glass of Moët & Chandon to the musical backdrop of a jazz duo.

The Kitchen

Modern dining in great style is the maxim for a great New Year's Eve in The Kitchen, where our chefs will prepare an array of Indian, Asian and grilled dishes in the striking open kitchen.  The special menu is topped up with crisp salads, an abundant choice of desserts, as well as a glass of Moët & Chandon to accompany the countdown and the finest house music.  Last orders will be taken at 11:30pm to make way for the first breakfast of 2010, which will start at 5:00am.

Shahrzad

Prepare for an evening of dancing, wonderful food and a great selection of drinks when you celebrate New Year's Eve in Shahrzad.  Our resident band will play, while guests are treated to an exceptional Iranian five-course set menu and a large selection of juices, as well as standards spirits.  A glass of Moët & Chandon will be served right in time for the arrival of 2010.

Miyako

Miyako, an authentic Japanese restaurant, will serve à la carte dinners for early diners until 8:30pm.  After 9:00pm, Japanese head chef Riyuta will prepare an incomparable Kaiseki and Teppanyaki set menu using only the freshest ingredients.  Dinner in this unique atmosphere with house music in the background, a great selection of drinks and a glass of Moët & Chandon at the turn of the year will be the final highlight to your 2009.

The Bar

Expect the best from New Year's Eve with a premium party and an exclusive selection of cocktails, wines and spirits in The Bar.  Our resident DJ will build up the atmosphere, starting with "chill-out" music in the early hours of the evening.  As the clock moves closer to the countdown, the rhythm will intensify and continue into the wee hours of the New Year.  Raise your glasses to 2010 and dance to your favourite tunes for a truly Happy New Year!

•  The Lobby Lounge will not serve food after 6:00pm on New Year's Eve and operate as usual on New Year's Day.
• Carpenter's Bar will charge an entry fee of AED150 on New Year's Eve, including two drinks. Opening hours: 6:00pm to 2:00am.
• Hibiki Karaoke Bar will charge an entry fee of AED150 on New Year's Eve, including two drinks. Opening hours: 7:30pm to 3:00am.
• The Premiere will charge an entry fee of AED300 on New Year's Eve, including two drinks. Opening hours: 10:00pm to 3:00am.
