About Fashion Forty

The owners took a chance when they opened a two-story lounge in the deserted-by-night Garment District, and it's not paying off. While the elegant room (dark-wood paneling, newfangled light fixtures) draws happy-hour garmentos, the bar is mostly empty after 9pm. Despite comfy couches and soothing deejayed tunes, the place feels like a well-dressed partygoer who showed up at the wrong address.
