Calvin Harris (born January 17, 1984), is a Scottish singer-songwriter and record producer. He was born in and grew up in Dumfries. Harris began making music as a 15 year old boy. His earliest success was when he was 18: the songs "Da Bongos" and "Brighter Days" were released as a 12" club single and CD-EP by the Prima Facie label in early 2002 under the name Stouffer.
