CHIYOMI  TANEIKE  LONGO/ Japan - Chiyomi's work is based on the balancing of materials oil, charcoal, etc; Japanese brush paintings and western abstraction; and content; often structured, sometimes choatic, with biomorphic forms. However it is always about nature and about the opposition of natural forces; male/female, sound/silence, etc, and especially the blending of her two cultures; Japanese/American....

FRANCISCO ROMERO/ Mexico - Romero lives and work  in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. With his intense and huge strokes out of different materials he captivated the complexion and caos of the soul. The metaphore of the eternity into the metaphisical circle of life.....

ARIEL KUPFER / Argentina - an argentinean artist who lives in Paris where he explores the possible relationships between water and rock as alchemistic processes of dissolution and solidificaiton. From there he builds his bridges, concepts and laces, the imagination and matter out of metal. His universe is an exceptional invitation to travel through matter's poetic intimacies.

CARLOS  TORRES/ Colombia  - a native of Bogotá, Colombia. Torres's experience with different materials and methods accounts for his mixed media works of art. While his canvases have a textured, primitive surface and a muted color palette, he implements modernist shapes and designs. The circle, square and cross are common motifs in his work, but the forms that most repeat are parallel vertical rectangles. They not only suggest upward mobility, but division or a path.

Fundamentally and spiritually, the line, the lace represents the  connectedness- the thread that ties objects , concepts and individuals together .

In this Exhibit “En-Laces” you will find an Intercultural thread in an essentially and conceptual  way.
